Meet Deanna W., IPR Area Consultant in Wichita, KS

Deanna.jpg

Deanna is originally from Wichita, Kansas but has also lived in Iowa, Texas and Colorado before returning to her hometown.

She loves the pace of Wichita and the perfect size of the town – while offering many things to do, it is still easy to navigate. And it does not hurt that the people in the Midwest are incredibly kind and friendly! Fun facts about Wichita: It is known as the Air Capital City and the original Pizza Hut is standing on the campus of Wichita State University. Wichita is also home to a great River Walk area with museums and a beautiful Keeper of the Plains statue that watches over the city and protects it.

Deanna truly enjoys being an Area Consultant, and has worked in Global Relocation for 15 years. One of her favorite things about working with Relocating Employees is to meet people from all over the world, to learn about the places they come from and their customs. Deanna is in awe of the number of people who speak perfect English along with their home language - plus so many of them speak multiple other languages!

A few of her memorable moments as Area Consultant were an area tour for a bus full of employees being offered a transfer which turned out to be a very fun day, and a young woman who told her she was like her Mom in this new location, the person she could ask anything and who had the answer.

Deanna has been married for 36 years to her college sweetheart. They have three wonderful daughters and an adorable grandson. She loves nothing more than to have a house full of family and friends.

She enjoys traveling, doing Liberty Puzzles, reading, and camping.

Deanna is a volunteer for Tour de Cure, the American Diabetes Association fundraiser.
